In 2019, ABRO Salesman Michael Molnar was involved in a traumatic accident. He was lucky that a MedFlight Helicopter was able to get him to South Bend’s Beacon Memorial Hospital which is a Trauma 2 level facility. Michael was very fortunate that the doctors and their teams were able to save his life and his leg. He required 19 total units of blood and 10 surgeries.
When asked how he survived it all and got to where he is today he said:
“I had a lot of support from my family, the hospital, my friends, the community and my ABRO Family. Support from my colleagues never wavered. I was allowed to focus on recovering while people at ABRO kept things going until I could start working again. It’s been quite a long journey and it’s not done yet, but I know that I have the full support from the entire organization.”
Another way that ABRO is continuing to support Michael is through blood donation. The South Bend Medical Foundation has a donation truck that visited ABRO’s Headquarters on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. It’s not the first time that it has been arranged for the ABRO staff to make a donation at the office and it will not be the last. This is a worthy cause that everyone will benefit at some point or another and we know the importance of this cause first hand based on what happened to Michael.
Michael was recently interviewed by the local news regarding the topic of blood donation… you can watch it by clicking the link.
